Quality Ingredients
Each de luz candle is carefully crafted and lovingly hand poured in small batches by our family- ensuring your candle is full of the ingredients you love and free of toxins you don’t.
-
Creamy, luxurious blend of natural soy and coconut wax. Free of paraffin wax (petroleum/crude oil). Soy wax ensures a slow, even burn. Coconut wax has a high flash point, which further strengthens the delicious aroma of your candle as it burns. Vegan and Cruelty Free.
-
Combination of essential oils and the highest quality fragrance oils. Free of parabens, dyes and harmful phthalates. A clean burn without compromising the aroma. Vegan and Cruelty Free.
-
Each of our wicks are FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council).
Compared with cotton wicks (even organic ones), FSC wooden wicks are a more sustainable option as they require significantly less water to produce than cotton.
Wooden wicks are also easy to light plus create a gentle, crackling sound that brings extra coziness to your candle experience.

The regional line of ceramics thoughtfully selected for de luz collective, has an artisan and timeless quality. Not only do they bring simplistic, natural beauty to any space, they are durable and made to last. Each ceramic can be repurposed or refilled with our Refill System.
Candle Care
To ensure an even burn, light the wick(s) across the entire wooden wick as opposed to only one end.
Every time you light your candle, ensure the melted wax reaches the edges of your ceramic vessel. This will prevent tunneling, and allow for an even burn.
Ideally a 3 to 4 hour burn time is recommended (especially the first burn).
We recommend not to burn your candle over 5-6 hours at a time.
After first burn, always trim your wick(s) before each use. You can gently break off the charred edge with your fingers if you do not have a wick trimmer.
After trimming, remove any bits of charred wood from candle surface before lighting.
Maintain the wick at a length between 3-6 mm.
Stop burning your candle when wax is at 1 cm.
When the fire ends, a new cycle can begin. Return your vessel for a 33% reduced price refill with our Refill System.

It is important to never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always burn candles out of the reach of children and pets.
Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles and do not not burn them near anything that can catch fire.
Never allow a candle to burn more than 5mm from the base.
